We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Embedded Linux Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Yocto, BitBake, generating BSPs, NXP devices, C, C++, and shell scripting.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux systems for a range of devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and integrate software into hardware systems.
- Develop and maintain software documentation and specifications.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing software and systems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Work with customers and vendors to resolve issues related to embedded Linux systems.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Yocto, BitBake, and generating BSPs.
- Experience with NXP devices.
- Strong experience with C, C++, and shell scripting.
- Experience with embedded Linux systems.
- Ability to rapidly adapt to new devices and port code.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, and Ethernet.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with build systems such as make or CMake.
